“No. It’s Saturday, wanted to be comfortable and came into work comfortable,” Huntley said.
It appears that Huntley is wearing animal slippers to practice.
Huntley is coming off of an impressive performance in their preseason opener against the Tennessee Titans on Thursday night, leading the Ravens to a 23-10 victory at home.
The former Utah star got the start for Baltimore and finished the game by completing 16 of his 18 pass attempts for 109 yards and one touchdown pass. He also rushed for 17 yards on three attempts.
On the first drive of the game, theĀ RavensĀ were forced to punt. Baltimore got the ball back after one play due to a lost fumble by the Titans. Huntley and the Ravens capitalized with a four-yard TD run by Mike Davis. Both teams exchanged punts on the next two possessions before the Titans found the end zone to tie the game at seven in the first half.
Later in the half, Huntley threw a 14-yard touchdown pass to Shemar Bridges with 35 seconds remaining until the break. That would be all that Huntley would play is the first half. Former Oregon quarterback Anthony Brown made his NFL debut with the Ravens, completing 10 of his 15 pass attempts for 117 yards. Brown was an undrafted free agent.
āIāve got a couple of games under my belt,ā Huntley said after the game. āIāve played against some good players like Aaron Donald and T.J. Watt. It gave me a little confidence in the future.ā
Through two seasons in Baltimore, Huntley has appeared in nine games with four starts, completing 125 of his 193 pass attempts for 1,096 yards, three touchdowns and four interceptions. He has rushed 57 times for 317 yards and two TDās.
The Ravens will travel to Arizona to face the Cardinals in their second preseason game on Sunday, August 21 at 6:00 p.m. MT on FOX.
