Converse states that these sneakers literally stretch the possibilities of the Chuck 70 model by elongating the tongues and signature DRKSHDW toe caps.

The colourway is a slight twist on Converse's classic style as well, with black cotton-twill teaming with egret-coloured midsoles, laces, and tongue tabs.

Ultimately, we're a big fan of Rick Owens' reimagination of this classic Converse design, which is why we feel the DRKSTAR Chuck 70s are some of the best collaborative sneakers around right now.

Continuing with the collaboration theme, these COMME des GARÇONS PLAY Chuck 70 Lows look to be an excellent example of what a brand can do when it's familiar with the Converse style.

COMME des GARÇONS has collaborated with Converse on numerous occasions; however, this retake on the vintage low-top silhouette is perhaps one of its best.

What we like about these shoes, in particular, is how COMME des GARÇONS has switched out the usual white midsoles for bright red rubber to match the love heart branding on the lateral sides.

Put simply, these collaborative Chuck 70 Lows feature a bold, bright design that is sure to make you standout, hence their inclusion on our list.

These "Midnight Navy" sneakers may look like a regular pair of Chuck Taylors; however, they're actually rather unique as they're made from 100% recycled polyester.

Not only are they sustainably made, but they're also incredibly stylish, in our opinion, as the darker blue tones of the uppers work perfectly with the egret rubber midsoles, laces, and toe caps.
