ANSE was started in 2020. The director of the brand Mr Anshoo Sehgal had a vision of showcasing export quality real leather sandals, online in India for a very long time. To carry forward his experience and expertise in this field of shoe making, our founder Gauri Sehgal decided to launch the brand and name it with the initials of her father’s full name. Hence named it ANSE.

The brand’s motive is to provide their customers a pair of sandals which has an element of real leather, whose value has been lost somewhere with time. Mostly the sandals sold in our country are fully made with PU/synthetic materials and genuine leather sandals are exported overseas. High quality products with a perfect amount of comfort and style is what they aim to deliver. They are a socially aware brand and buy leather from Leather Working Group (LWG) certified tanneries that demonstrate environmental best practices and performance in all areas of leather production.

Gauri Sehgal Founder said “We use real leather elements in all styles. The footwear is durable and they mold themselves into your feet for comfort. We use imported embellishments and accessories, nickel-free metal components.”
